Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We aim to follow Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada’s PIPEDA.

What we collect

• Account: email address, an optional first name, password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider) and sign-in timestamps.
• Study data: the questions you answer, your answers, timing, mistakes, bookmarks, mock exam results and display preferences.
• Purchases: a record that you bought Full Access (amount, currency, date, Stripe identifiers, refund or dispute status). We never receive or store card numbers or security codes — Stripe processes payments.
• Technical: limited server logs (e.g. IP address, request time) kept by our hosting providers for security and troubleshooting, and rate-limit counters.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We only use cookies needed to keep you signed in.

Why we use it

To provide your account and practice features, sync progress across devices, process and verify purchases, prevent abuse, and answer support requests. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

Supabase (database and authentication, Canada – ca-central-1 region), Vercel (website hosting and delivery; may process request data outside Canada), and Stripe (payments; may process data outside Canada). These providers act on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in Account → Your data; this permanently removes your account and study data. Purchase records are kept without your name or email where required for accounting and tax purposes.

You can access and correct your information in the app, or ask us for a copy or correction by contacting omelchuk.vasya@gmail.com. If you have concerns, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.

Children

Learners can be 14 or older. If you are under 18, please use this service with a parent or guardian’s permission.
