Renewing your Alberta driver’s licence The Government of Alberta has stopped mailing out reminders about driver’s licences and vehicle registration. Albertans with disabilities will continue to receive reminders in the mail. Albertans can sign up for electronic reminders by visiting E-registry or MyAlberta and signing up for free reminders. It is your responsibility to renew your driver’s licence on or before the expiry date.
